Simon Rose is a well-rounded student-athlete known for his leadership, consistency, and competitive mindset. On the field, he combines strong pitching accuracy and defensive skills with excellent plate discipline and a high contact rate at the plate. As a sophomore All-Conference selection and a member of the PBR 16U Summer Championship team, Simon has proven himself at a high level of competition. Off the field, he's a supportive teammate who keeps others focused and motivated, and his dedication extends to the classroom, where he’s a consistent Honor Roll student.
Simon showcases electric mound presence with late life on the fastball, sharp secondary stuff, and the makeup to start or close games. He has elite run suppression and consistent strikeout ability, averaging 66% strike rate.

Simon has quick hands, short stroke, line-drive approach, advanced barrel feel, and sneaky pop that plays gap-to-gap.

"It has been an absolute joy to coach Simon. His passion and work ethic make it clear he has what it takes to compete at the next level. Instinctually mature beyond his years, he commands shortstop as the captain of our infield—always in the right spot to make a play, no matter the situation. On the mound, he’s been a force for us, starting against some of our toughest opponents without ever blinking. He competes in the zone with multiple pitches and consistently gives us a chance to win every time he takes the ball. At the plate, he’s just beginning to scratch the surface of his potential, and I’m excited to watch his gap-to-gap power continue to develop."
